Job Title: NetScaler Architect and Administrator

Location: Dallas TX/100% REMOTE

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled NetScaler Architect and Administrator to lead the design, deployment, administration, and optimization of Citrix NetScaler (now Citrix ADC ) environments. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our network and application delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design:

• Design scalable, secure, and highly available NetScaler (Citrix ADC) architecture for enterprise environments.
• Provide technical leadership on NetScaler implementation, including integration with other systems like Active Directory, DNS, SSL certificates, and load balancers.
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams and documentation for NetScaler deployments.
• Evaluate current environments and recommend improvements in design and performance.

Administration & Support:

• Administer, configure, and maintain NetScaler appliances (VPX, MPX, or SDX).
• Configure and manage features like Load Balancing, SSL Offloading, GSLB, Content Switching, URL rewrites and Access Gateway.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and ongoing system tuning.
• Monitor performance, health, and availability of NetScaler infrastructure.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support and resolve complex issues related to NetScaler and application delivery.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement and manage security policies, including SSL, TLS, authentication mechanisms (LDAP, SAML, RADIUS), and application firewall (AppFW).
• Ensure NetScaler configurations align with corporate and regulatory compliance standards.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and remediation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Citrix NetScaler (Citrix ADC) in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Load Balancing , GSLB , SSL Offloading , VPN , AppFW , and AAA features.
• Proficiency in NetScaler Gateway for Citrix VDI/ICA proxying.
• Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell , NITRO API , Python ) for automation (Preferred).
• Familiarity with networking concepts TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, firewalls.
• Hands-on experience integrating NetScaler with Active Directory , SAML , OAuth , Okta , etc.
• Experience with multi-data center environments and disaster recovery planning.
• Certifications such as CCA-N , CCP-N , or CCE-N (Citrix Certified Expert Networking) is must.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud ADC solutions (e.g., Citrix ADC on AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of Citrix Workspace , StoreFront , and Citrix Gateway configurations.
• Familiarity with tools like Splunk, Sumologic, SNMP/NMS, or SolarWinds for monitoring.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
