Join Barclays as an Investment Banking Associate, where you will support our dynamic Leveraged Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the execution of complex financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and refinancing. You will collaborate closely with senior bankers, clients, and other stakeholders to analyze financial data, structure deals, and prepare detailed presentations.
To be successful as an Investment Banking Associate, you should have experience with:
Loan structuring, including covenant analysis, term sheet negotiation, and credit documentation
Underwriting leveraged transactions and assessing risk-adjusted returns
Preparation of various pitch materials for corporate clients and financial sponsors (M&A, LBO, refinancings, and recapitalizations)
Managing multiple workstreams under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored financing solutions

Excellent quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and valuation techniques
Ample written and spoken communication skills for client interaction and internal presentations

Minimum Salary: $175,000
Maximum Salary: $225,000
