Job Description
Our client, a Los Angeles wholesale women’s apparel manufacturer, is looking for a Head of Women's Apparel Sourcing who is conversant and expert in all manner of apparel sourcing and has built and maintained relationships with global suppliers. The position is in-office in Los Angeles with travel overseas as needed as well as to trade shows. You must have a robust roster of sourcing relationships outside of China with the dexterity and acumen to manage them effectively and efficiently. This is a leadership position reporting directly to company ownership. Experience working with Walmart is a must and in-office 5 days is non-negotiable.
- The salary range for this role is $200k - $250k based on experience.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes for a wholesale apparel business with customers including Walmart, Mid-Tier Department Stores (Macys, Kohls, JC Penney, Belk, Dillard’s), Off-Price Channel (Ross, Burlington, TJ Maxx), and Subscription (Stitch Fix). The primary focus is Walmart.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient sourcing, production, inventory management, and distribution of apparel products while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications:- Demonstrated history of successfully managing a complex apparel supply chain
- Experience with Walmart and the nuances of managing their business effectively and efficiently
- BS / BA degree
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management
- Thorough understanding of wholesale distribution networks and global sourcing
